Recorded Sessions

WASFAA Book Club: In December 2019, WASFAA read a book. We asked our members to read Rising Strong by Brené Brown. Then in January 2020, we had an online hangout to discuss the book. We recorded the session for posterity. You can watch it here.

WASFAA Wednesday Weekly Welcome: Members of the WASFAA training team are hosting an unscripted conversation on random topics of interest to members navigating life and work from home. If you couldn't catch the session live, you can watch them here.

WASFAA CARES Act Town Hall: A recording of the discussion that took place on Monday, April 20th, 2020 surrounding the financial aid implications of the CARES Act. Megan Coval, NASFAA Vice President of Policy & Federal Relations, introduced the session and the CARES Act's emergency grant components. You may view the recording here
Please note: As information on the CARES Act continues to develop, information that was provided on this webinar that took place on April 20, 2020 may no longer be relevant.  It is important to continue to monitor changes.  Here is a recent list of FAQs that were released on April 21, 2020 from the Department of Education.
