About WASFAA

WASFAA (Western Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators) is a volunteer-led organization dedicated to supporting financial aid professionals across the Western United States and Pacific Islands. Through training, advocacy, and community, WASFAA empowers its members to better serve students and promote access to higher education.

Who We Serve

WASFAA represents members from Alaska, Arizona, California, Hawaii, Idaho, Nevada, Oregon, Washington, and the Pacific Islands. We provide training, networking, and leadership opportunities for financial aid professionals at all levels.

Our History

Founded in the early 1960s, WASFAA has played a key role in shaping student financial aid practices across the Western region. Our members have contributed to national conversations, mentored future leaders, and built a legacy of service and advocacy.
