State Reports 
NAFAA members gathered for a state conference October
10 and 11, 2001. We had thirty school folks attend and
twenty-eight lenders, servicers, and guarantors. The conference
was held on the south shore of Lake Tahoe. Of the
thirty school members, eight were from proprietary schools, which was an excellent and welcome turnout. The conference was a successful event!The WASFAA/NASFAA workshop on Policies and Procedures will be held December 13 in Reno. A federal training on Fiscal Management will also be held on November 28 and 29. A newly developed Technology Committee is working on updating and moving our website, with the WASFAA website as a possible location. The state association is giving out two $500 scholarships again this year to students belonging to a member school. We have next year's conference planned for October 9-10, 2002 in Las Vegas. |
