for the new school year. This year we welcome a new
school to Nevada as Nevada State College at Henderson
opens its doors to students this fall. We welcome their
new Director of Financial Aid and Enrollment
Management, Lori Tiede, and her staff to the Nevada
Financial Aid Community.Ongoing NAFAA Projects Summer Institute Scholarships NAFAA's Scholarship Committee was able to choose four recipients for USA Fund's generous scholarship to attend the WASFAA Summer Institute held in Reno in June. The Recipients were:
NAFAA Website and Listserv As reported last time, NAFAA is in the process of updating our website and listserv. Yvonne Hicks, our Electronic Services Chair, reports that progress is being made and that we hope to be online soon. We will provide our new website address and listserv address as soon as they become available. NAFAA Fall Conference Plans continue for NAFAA's Fall conference to be held at The Alexis Park Resort and Spa in Las Vegas October 9-10, 2002. The Conference Committee is offering two scholarships to attend the conference. These scholarships cover both transportation and lodging.
