WASFAA Happenings ... Conference registration via the web seems to be working well, also. The registrar is able to pull lists of people registered, see who still needs to pay, download a file to print name badges or make a hard list of attendees. As registrants are accessing the database to register, changes they make, updating address, email or phone/fax, are automatically incorporated into the live data, giving WASFAA a much more accurate database. Furthermore, all of the conference data is incorporated and will be available for years to come for statistical comparisons or just a review of history. Electronic Services is currently working in combination with the Summer Institute Chair to bring SI 2002 registration online. Look for that soon! Looking ahead,WASFAA plans to have Fall Training registration online in addition to Conference and SI registration.
