WASFAA Conference... Cub Reporter #28, Renee McCloud, University of Nevada, Reno  Welcome...Taiko Dan Drummers and June Cline...what a great start!Appreciative...it took a lot of hard work to pull off such a wonderful conference! Sock Hop...we twisted the night away! Friends...reunion with old friends and made many new friends! Attitude...Dr. Maryellen Lipinski (a.k.a. "the skating doctor") reminded us to check our attitudes. Appetite...the San Jose Double Tree sure satisfied my appetite...fantastic food!  Contacts...talked with bank representatives, guarantors, and more.Opportunity...learned about Web Sites, Loan Borrowing Trends, and the X's and O's of Team Building. Networking...met other financial aid administrators. French cuisine...Emile's...Thanks to Kelly Kilby with ASAP Union Bank and Trust! Exhibits...loved the caricature artist and gathering new materials. Roommate...Liz Fernandez, El Camino Community College...we had a blast! Ethnic Diversity Scholarship Committee...THANK YOU! Nevada...as in the University of Nevada, Reno! Co-workers...Sandi, Temple, Marsha, and Debra...we had a blast! Enjoyable...sums up the entire weekend.   |
