The 2000-01 Ethnic Diversity Scholarship Application deadline for the WASFAA Conference was February 1, 2001. The WASFAA Summer Institute & Advanced Track application deadline is May 1, 2001. The application is available on the website by clicking the online forms link. Based on personal testimonies from previous scholarship recipients, this award has proven to be a great opportunity to encourage and develop future leaders in the state associations and in WASFAA. We encourage all eligible applicants to apply!

We held our winter meeting in San Diego in conjunction with the CASFAA conference in December. Members reported on diversity activities in their respective states and we planned our EDAC session for the upcoming WASFAA conference in San Jose. We are very excited about this session, which promises to be informative, educational and interactive. So, look for our new session. Don't miss this one!

While in San Diego, we presented at the CASFAA conference. Our session was titled, "Understanding Each Other: A Dialogue with WASFAA EDAC." We thank CASFAA and the conference committee for including us in their wonderful program.
