Nominations and Elections Report...

It was a busy fall for the Nominations and Elections Committee. We ran three ballots. First Steve Herndon of CSU, Bakersifeld was elected to the Treasure-Elect position. We also approved a change to the fiscal year. The next election was a by-laws change to allow the committee to send out ballots earlier than before. Finally, we held our election for officers for the 2001- 2002 Executive Council. We have blazed a trail into the 21st Century by conducting the elections primarily by email. Many folks commented on how much they liked the e-ballot. A note to you who received the ballots on paper. That would be because you do not have a valid address on our membership database.
