We plan to have our first IASFAA newsletter out by November. The purpose of this newsletter is to bring our association a little closer since we have only one conference a year. |
State Reports The Idaho State Association Annual Conference will be
held at the Grand Targhee Lodge located on the
Wyoming/Idaho border October 15-17, 2001. IASFAA
rotates the location of this conference every year as to
accommodate all its members in various locations throughout
the state. Our rotation sites include Southeast Idaho,
Southern Idaho and Northern Idaho. Next year's conference
will be somewhere in the Boise area.Dwight Berreth (Boise State University) is our new Federal Issues Chair. Dwight is currently serving as our Vice President. We plan to have our first IASFAA newsletter out by November. The purpose of this newsletter is to bring our association a little closer since we have only one conference a year. We would like to spotlight certain individuals in our association and hear from each school within our state from time to time to find out what they are doing. We will also have each of our committee chairs report to us in the newsletter. We extend our thanks to Kathreen Silva (University of Idaho) for volunteering to chair this project. We are excited to have the WASFAA conference in Boise next April! Our association is offering a $500 Ethnic Diversity Scholarship to attend the conference to a financial aid professional within WASFAA. The application will be available sometime around the December/January newsletter mailing. We will keep you posted. |
