Fiscal Management Training Seminars

SFA University is pleased to announce Fiscal Management Training (FMT) for 2001-02. These two-day workshops are offered nationally and will focus on current accounting, record keeping, and reporting elements that schools need to know to administer the Title IV student financial aid programs.

You should attend if you are a comptroller, bursar, cashier, bookkeeper, or other fiscal officer at a Title IV postsecondary institution. Financial aid officers from your school may also benefit from these workshops. All attendees should have at least two years of experience in the Title IV aid programs.

Seventy-seven workshops are being offered in the continental U.S., Puerto Rico, Alaska, and Hawaii; some will take place at schools and others in the Department's training facilities. The first workshops will run from October 15 through December 13, 2001, and the remaining workshops will run from January 8 through February 14, 2002. Each of the two days begins at 9:00 a.m. and ends at approximately 5:00 p.m., including lunch and two breaks.
