Graduate/Professional Report
by Catherine King-Todd, Segmental Representative-at-Large Director of Financial Aid, American Graduate School of Management International, Thunderbird Campus

This is the second year that WASFAA has had a representative from the Graduate/Professional sector sit on the Executive Council. I am pleased to participate this year as the representative for this sector. Last year, Dennis Tominaga held this position and surveyed individuals from each state asking their feedback for the Graduate/Professional segment needs/desires.

Based on the survey results, two of the goals for this year are providing a viable conference session in San Jose and developing a contact list in the region of aid administrators concerned with graduate/professional issues. CASFAA has this already but we would like to expand this and spread the network to the entire region.

One session being considered addresses understanding key factors of alternative loans to better fit the needs of our students and their circumstances. If there is a topic that you would like provided, feel free to contact me. Your assistance is needed to develop the WASFAA Graduate/Professional Contact list. If you are interested, please submit your name, school, phone number and email address to me at kingtodc@t-bird.edu or (602) 978- 7888. Whether you work specifically for a graduate/ professional organization in a stand-alone environment or have responsibility for graduate/professional students within a centralized environment, you are encouraged to be a part of the list.
