The dates for the 2001 OASFAA conference have been announced and are Sunday, February 4th through Tuesday, February 6th. We will be at the Westin - Salishan in Gleneden Beach again this year. The conference theme will be: 2001: A Financial Aid Odyssey.

In personnel news, congratulations are due to Cherie Honnell and Leslie Limper. Cherie has joined Oregon Health Sciences University as their Director of Financial Aid, having left her post as Associate Director for the University of Portland and Leslie, formerly Director of Financial Aid at Willamette University, is now the Director of Financial Aid at Reed College.

The OASFAA Executive Council plans to have updates on the Annual Conference, the Fall Support Staff Workshop, and the OPB Financial Aid Night at our next meeting. In the meantime, thanks to the efforts of Mike Johnson, many OASFAA members will be helping out with the Portland National College Fair on Sunday, October 15.
